Q:What is your opinion on Sextus Empiricus and The Ten Modes, more specifically the reciprocal mode?

I read the ten modes long ago but in so far as I remember the main disagreement I would have with Empiricus is that he is a representative realist and I am a direct realist. In other words Empricus supposed that we cannot perceive the real world but in modern terms only the “sense-datum” of the real world. I on the other hand would argue that we perceive the world directly and therefore the skeptical and epistemic problems between humans do not hold true. the fact that we can speak about the external world together supposes that we perceive roughly speaking the same world
